Girls day out

Tammy, Julie and I hit the road to Fredericksburg early this morning hoping to get some really good garage sale treasures.  Well, they were not all that great but the company was and the roadsides were filled with the beauty of bluebonnets, Indian paintbrush, and all kinds of other wildflowers.

We also ran across this guy.

Now that's a lot of bull and horns.

Oh and I spied a peeping dog.

Pretty bluebonnets!

More flowers and friends amongst the flowers.

Oh, I did get mom a birthday present.  She loves pigs.

Although garage sales treasures were not to be had, the day spent with friends was a treasure in itself.

  2. While we were taking pics of the bull, he started running down the hill at us. We were not sure he would stop at the fence so we took off running. People passing by must of thought we were strange.

My mom will be 78 and has need of nothing. She loves her plants and pigs so why not get her a garden pig!! I know she will love it.

My son is off work today so we are doing a birthday lunch for her today. It will be exciting to see her expression when she sees the pig.
